Soft pretzel bagels are one of my favorite things to eat.
One of my favorite soft pretzel bagel places recently closed, and I kept missing their bagels, so I baked a batch at home.
The morning started with dough for soft pretzel bagels.
I have baked pretzels many times because the kids like them, but somehow I had never thought to make them as bagels.
A little egg wash made the tops shine.
Now that I have made them once, I think they will be baked often in our kitchen.
Warm soft pretzel bagels, sliced and eaten with our favorite butter.
